Maddie, Ambridge High School Class of 2017 | Morrow Pontefract Park | Pittsburgh Senior Portrait Pho

As I'm sure you can tell by now, I love doing photos outdoors more than anything because nature is where I feel calm and most closely connected to my God and my purpose. This park in particular is one of my favorites and it's very close to home so it's my go to! I recently discovered part of this park that I had never known about before so myself and Maddie along with her mom took a nice little stroll to explore it a bit! At first I could tell Maddie was a little shy but she warmed up to me and began to relax. A seriously PERFECT subject because she took my direction well but also did her own thing too! I was really happy with how her candid shots turned out. The smiles unplanned or the subtle motion in her dress gives you the feeling of being right there with us. There is definitely a challenge in trying to bring out natural smiles and emotions in people. I think the key is just really talking with that person and just getting to know them in a genuine way. I would love to get to know you too! If you are thinking about your senior photos or even if you're reading this and have been thinking about getting photos of your family, please do not hesitate! We will have a fun time, I promise!
