Gia, Vincentian Academy Class of 2017 | Lawrenceville | Pittsburgh Senior Portrait Photographer | Pi

I got to hang with Gia and her Mom the other night and these two are a fun duo to be around, let me tell you! It is awesome to see how close these girls are with their mom's. It helps me to realize what a blessing that really is! It stands true that no matter how old you get your bond with your mother remains strong always. Even during the seasons of life where we may not talk as much, we must still cherish them. I think a lot of times we take this for granted because we can get annoyed with them but it's only because they want what's best for us and our futures. Especially young ladies on the verge of entering adulthood. Thanks to having an awesome mama, Gia has a good head on her shoulders and is super smart! She basically got accepted into every college she applied to and she will be studying chemical engineering. I am a creative person to the core so honestly I had no idea what that even involved, but needless to say our world needs people like Gia, Just like it needs people like you and me. We all play an important role in shaping the future of our world. I am proud to know these ladies and see them reaching for the highest heights!

Impromptu mother and daughter shot. These two look more like sisters if you ask me!

On top of being smart Gia also has a really big heart. She and her friend decided they wanted to do something big to make a difference in the lives of others. They put their heads together and decided to organize an event to help benefit the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh called Bids for Kids. This speaks volumes to the kind of person she is. Because honestly, how many teenagers do you know that would take time out of their senior year to do something like this?? I'd say they went above and beyond! I will be donating a session to the silent auction so please consider attending this event for a chance to win some awesome prizes while supporting our Children's Hospital. The event is being held at Walnut Grill in Wexford on Sunday March 19th from 3 to 7 p.m. If you cannot attend, they are also accepting donations online at https://www.bidsforkidspgh.org/tickets-and-event/ 100% of the proceeds will be donated. I am hoping for a really big turnout and I am just so happy to have known this lovely lady! She is sure to be doing great things in the future!
